Some of you may not have heard, but one of the Pink Ladies, Sandy Toomsen, was injured earlier this month when she was robbed by two men in front of her home in Waterloo. She had just arrived home from work and one grabbed her from behind while the other grabbed her purse. The purse got wrapped around her wrist and she was drug down the street until it came loose. In the process, she tore a muscle and broke her right shoulder. She is currently off work for 8 weeks while she recovers. Unfortunately, she is not able to scrapbook at this time and we are not sure how long it will be before she is able to again as she will need to heal and then go through physical therapy.
